Saudi Arabia requires ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing, and an invoice that is not cleared is not a valid invoice. Ulka handles it inside the ordinary sales flow: you issue an invoice the way you always would, and the compliance happens behind it. This is the part most international accounting packages simply cannot do here.
You onboard your device once and Ulka holds the certificate. After that, issuing an invoice is issuing an invoice: the XML is generated and validated, the invoice is cleared with ZATCA, and the QR code is on the printed copy. If ZATCA rejects something, the submission log shows exactly what was sent and what came back, so it is fixed rather than guessed at.
